After completing my Fashion & Textile course in 1983 I was fortunate enough to obtain a position in Rigby & Peller within the same year.

I started my journey with Rigby & Peller at South Molton Street finishing bespoke garments under the watchful eye of Mrs Spry. With the training and experience I got from the wonderful team, I progressed to working on Made to Measure and continue to do so at the Knightsbridge Boutique. I now take pride in creating one of a kind, exclusive, luxury garments that are made to exact specifications and fit to perfection.

My job is different day by day as all of our clients are unique and when I am not carrying out Made to Measure work, I carry out alterations and visit our other boutiques to teach the stylists how to measure and pin for alterations.

I would say the best part of my job, is when I have been able to help a customer. A favourite moment was for a lovely lady who could not get a bra that she was able to put on herself, due to a medical problem. I made a bra for her that she could fasten by herself and the look of joy on her face was a pure delight. 

I look forward to continuing to give our clients a bespoke service which is second to none.
